1327 RES TERMS OF OFFICE OF JIMMY JOHNSON ET AL AS MEMBERS OF TRAFFIC COMM EXPIRE SEPTEMBER 1 1969RESOLUTION NO. 1327
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Jimmy Johnson and Bethel
F. Holmes, as members of the Traffic Commission of the City of
Paris, will expire September 1, 1969; and,
WHERFAS, it is necessary to appoint two persons to fill
the vacancies which will be created by the expiration of their
terms; and,
WHER EAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, R. A. Kennedy,
has re-appointed to the Traffic Commissiori, Jimmy Johnson and
Bethel F. Holmes, for a term of three (3) years, beginning
September 1, 1969 and ending June 30, 1972, and has submitted
their names to the City Council of the City of Paris to be
approved and confirmed; NOW, TH EREFORE,
BE IT R ESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That the re-appointment of Jimmy Johnson and
Bethel F. Holmes, to serve as members of the Traffic
Commission of the City of Paris, for a term of three (3) years,
beginning September 1, 1969 and ending June 30, 1972, be, and
the same is hereby approved and confirmed by the City Council
of the City of Paris.
