1321 RES LAMAR COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD IS DESIROUS OF LEASING FROM COP PROPERTY SUFFICIENT FOR LOCATION OF EXCEPTIONAL SCHOOL BUILDINGRESCLUTION NO. 1321
WHEREAS, the Lamar County School Board is desirous of
leasing from the City of Paris property sufficient for the
location of the Exceptional School Building heretofore lo-
cated adjacent to 19th Street, S. W. on the Paris Independent
School District property; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris owns Lot 4, City Block 205;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is de-
sirous of cooperating with the Lamar County School Board and
its Exceptional School Program; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the Mayor of the City of Paris, R. A. Kennedy, be, and
he is hereby authorized to execute a lease, of a lot fronting
41 feet on West Kaufman Street and being 113 feet deep, said
lot being out of the South East Corner of Lot 4, City Block
205, for a term of one (1) year, beginning September 1, 1969,
renewable annually so long as the City of Paris does not need
said property for some other use and providing for an annual
rental of $1.00 per year so long as the lease agreement remains
in effect.
