1317 RES COP REQUESTED PIPE LINE AGREEMENT WITH ST LOUIS-SAN FRANCISCO RAILWAY CORFSOLUTION NO. 1317 ~
WHEREAS,the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has requested a
pipe line agreement with the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway
Company, in order to lay an eight inch (811) water line under
said Company's tracks, 9 feet South of curb line of Washington
Street, Paris, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, in order to obtain permission to lay said line,
it is required by the Railway Company that its standard form
of pipe line contract, Form MW-1 Universal (Revised June, 1966),
be entered into; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the Mayor of the City of Paris, R. A. Kennedy, be, and he
is hereby authorized to execute a pipe line contract with the
St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company, which provides for an
initial fee of $25.00 and grants the City of Paris the privilege
of constructing an eight inch (894) water line under said
Company's tracks, 9 feet South of curb line of Washington Street,
Paris, Texas.
