1312 RES ELMER HADAWAY OF COP REQUESTED PERMISSION TO LEASE SPACERESOLUTION N0. 1312
WHEREAS, Elmer Hadaway, of the City of Paris, has requested
permission to lease space adjacent to the West Side of the Public
Parking Area provided at Cox Field, and being 1000 square feet,
for the purposes of placing an aluminum building or trailer house
for the purpose of housing an office and/or classroom, to be used
in connection with conducting an aviation flight training school;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is in agree-
ment that a flight training school, to be conducted at Cox Field,
will be an asset to the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, a lease agreement presented to the City Council of
the City of Paris meets its approval; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, R. A. Kennedy,
be, and he is hereby authorized to execute the lease agreement in
the form approved, providing for a lease of two (2) years, be-
ginning June l, 1969 and terminating May 31, 1971, providing for
termination by either party to said lease upon ninety days notice,
and providing for $15.00 per month rental, which includes water
and sewer to be furnished by the City of Paris, with Elmer
Hadaway.
