1308 RES ORDINANCES OF COP HAVE NOT BEEN CODIFIED SINCE 1917RFSOLUTION NO. 1308 .
WHEREAS, the ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, have not been codified since 1917; and,
WHEREAS, many ordinances have been passed by the governing
body of the City of Paris since that date; and,
WHEREAS, the ordinances of the City of Paris are cumber-
some and contain much duplication; and,
WHEREAS, the Municipal Code Corporation of Tallahassee,
Florida, has proposed a contract for the codification of the
ordinances of the City of Paris,Paris, Texas, which is accept-
able to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That R. A. Kennedy, Mayor of said City, be, and
he is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of
Paris, the contractual agreement with the Municipal Code
Corporation, providing for codification of the ordinances of
the City of Paris.
