1302 RES CARL M MCWHERTER JR MOVED FROM COP AND CREATED VACANCY ON BOARD OF COMMISSIONERSRESOLUTION N0. 1302 ,
WHEREAS, Carl M. McWherter, Jr. has moved from the City
of Paris and has created a vacancy on the Board of
Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris,
and it is necessary to appoint his successor; and,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the City Council by
the Mayor, R. A. Kennedy, that Dr. James R. Moore, be
appointed as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the
Housing Authority of the City of Paris, to fill the unexpired
term of Carl M. McWherter, Jr., which term expires October 7,
1969; NOW, TxEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXA.S, 'I`hat Dr. James R. Moore, be, and he is hereby
appointed as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the
Housing Authority of the City of Paris, to fill the unexpired
term of Carl M. McWherter, Jr., which term expires October 7,
1969; this appointment to become effective immediately.
