wHEREAS, the term of office of Elbert E. Barbee, Jr,, on
the Firemen's and Policemen's Civil Service Commission of the
City of Paris, will expire on December 31, 1968; and,
W'HEREAS, the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, has re-appointed
Elbert E. Barbee, Jr, to serve on the Civil Service Commission
for a term of' three (3) years, beginning January l, 1969 and con~
tinuing f'or three (3) years thereafter; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That the reyappointment of Elbert E. Barbee, Jr.,
be, and the same is hereby, in all things, approved and conM
fixmed.
