1286 RES ST OF TX DESIRES TO PLACE BOAT LAUNCHING RAMP AND ACCESS ROADRESOLUTION NO. 1286 .
W'HEREAS, the State of Texas, acting by and through the
State Highway Department, desires to place a boat launching
ramp and access road serving the same at Lake Gibbons on pro-
perty owned by the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is of the opinion that it will
be to the advantage of said City and its residents for such im-
provements to be made at Lake Gibbons; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That the Mayor is authorized to make, execute
and.deliver a 99 year lease to the State of Texas, permitting
the State of Texas to construct, maintain and operate a boat
launching ramp, together with an access road and parking area
in conjunction therewith, upon the property owned by the City of
Paris, being a part of a 242,13 acre tract of land and being
approximately 3.593 acres of land, more or less, in the W. H.
Hobbs Survey, Lamar County, Texas,
