1277 RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL THAT ACQUISITION OF ADDITIONAL 30' OF ROWRESOLUTIQN NO. 1277
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Paris that the acquisition of an additional
30 feet of right-of«.way on the inside of Loop 286 has been re«-
quired by the Texas Highway Department, for the purpose of con..
structing an additional two lanes on the inside of I.oop 286, from
U. S. 271 North extending East to U. S. 271 East; and,
WHEREAS, either the County of Lamar or the City of Paris must
be responsible for the acquisition of said right-of-way and that
the Commissioners Court of Lamar County, Texas, has voted to be
responsible for 1/4th of the cost of acquisition of said right••of»
way and is willing to administer the acquisition of said right«of•»
way; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS) TEXAS, That said City will be responsible for 1/4th.of the
acquisition costs of an additional 30 feet of right-of-way on the
inside of Loop 286, from U. S. 271 North extending East to U. S.
271 East, and the Commissioners Court of Lamar County, Texas, is
authorized to act in behalf of the City of Paris to acquire said
right.•of..way.
