A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO MAKE,
EXECUTE AND DELIVER A RIGHT OF fnTAY EASEMENT TO THE TEXAS HIGHWAY
DEPARTMENT FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF $155.00 TO BE PAID BY LAMAR
COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 271, BETWEEN PARIS, TEXAS
AND THE RED RIVER, AND KNOinTN AS PARCEL NO. 20-B.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF T'ARIS:
The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to make, execute and
deliver a right-of.-way easement to the County of Lamar for and in
behalf of the State of Texas, acting by and through its State
Highway Department, in acquiring right-or-way for the construction,
reconstruction and relocation of U. S. Highway No. 271 between
Paris, Texas, and the Red River, Lamar County, Texas, and described
as Parcel No, 20-B. S.aid easement to be 0.152 acre, more or less,
for the consideration of $155,00, with title being retained to the
metal cattle guard and barb wire fence located thereon to be re-
moved by said City on or before August 1, 1968.
Passed and adopted this 8th day of July, 1968.
