1206 RES COP IS ENGAGED IN ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN ROWRESOLUTION NO. 1206 .
WHEREASa the City of Paris is engaged in the acquisition of certain
right of way for the construction of a street, extending Pine Bluff Streetg
W est to Graham 5treet; and,
WHEREAS, there is certain property located within the right of way,
as shown by the plat furnished to the City of Paris by the Engineer, and on
said plat is Tract No. 199 belonging to Don W. Wair; and9
WHEREASp Don W. Wair has agreed to accept for said tract, the sum
of $82 000. 00; andp
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it will be to the
advantage of the City of Paris to pay that amount, rather than to resort to
condemnation; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARISr
That the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, be9 and he is hereby authorized to
pay to Don W. Wair, the sum of $8g 000. 00, for Tract No. 19, and to receive
from Don W. Wair and wife a deed to said tract.
