WHEREASs R. A. Kennedy was a member of the Planning and Zoning
Gommission and was recently elected to serve on the City Council, and has
resigned as a memuer of the Planning and Zoning Comm;.ssion; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to replace him on the Planning and Zaning
Commi.ssion, and the M.ayor of the City of Paris, Richard W. Nafe9 having
appointed Louis B. William,s to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission
for three (3) years' beginning May 9, 1966 and continuing for a term of three
(3) years, and has submitted the name of such person to the City Council of
the City of Paris; NO N, THEREFOREp
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY Cc7U.~TCIL OF THE CIT Y O.7 PARIS,
TEXAS., That Louis B. Williams be appointed to serve as a member of the
Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, for a term of three (3)
years, beginning May 9, 1966 and continuing for a period of three (3) years
thereafter, and such appointment is by the City Council of the City of Paris
hereby approved and confirmed.
