1181 RES COP ON 14TH DAY OF APRIL 1962 ENTERED INTO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH PARIS GUN CLUB

RESOLUTION NO. 1181 . WEiEREAS, the City of Paris did, on the 14th day of April, 1962, enter into a lease agreement with the Paris Gun Club, Inc., wnereby it leased cer- tain property on the Lake Crook Water Shed, consisting of 78.7 acres, and lo- cated at the intersection of the West Boundary Line of the Caviness Road with the North Boundary Line of F. M. Highway No. 79; and, WHEREAS, the Paris Gun Club, Inc, is making plans to make additional improvements to said Gun Club firing range located thereon, and hasasked the City Council for a ten (10) year lease with an option for an additional ten (10) year s, in order to justify such improvements; and, WHEREAS, the Paris Gan CXub, Inc. has successfu]1y conducted its operations on said firing range, and the City Council is of the opinion that the same is to the benefit of the citizens of the City of Paris; and, WHEr.'ZEA5, the Paris Gun C1ub, Inc. has presented copies of the re- quested lease to the City Council; NOW,~ THEREHOREr BE IT RESOLVED ~Y TH:E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS., That the City Manager, H. C. KAnnemer, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute and deliver said lease, for ten (10) years wi.th an option to renew the same for ten (10) years, to the Paris Gun C1ub9 Inc.
