RESOLUTION NQ, 1175 . <br />WHEREr15, Jim Sammons is no longer a resident of the City of Paris, <br />Texas; and, <br />WI3EREA5, he is not in position to continue his duties as a member of <br />the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris; and, <br />WHEREAS, his term of office would have expired September 1, 1967; <br />and, <br />W.l-IEREA5, it is necessary to appoint a successor to fill the unexpired <br />term of his office on the Traffic Commission; and, <br />WHE}2EAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, V. E. Stewart, has <br />appointed Philip R. Cecil and submitted his name to the City Council of the <br />City of Paris, to be approved and confirmed, to fill the unexpired term of <br />Jim Sammons; NOW, THEREFORE' <br />BE IT RESaLVED 3Y THE CTTY COUIVCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the appointment of Philip R. Cecil, to serve as a member of the <br />Traffic Cominission of the City of Paris, for the unexpired portion of the <br />term of Jim 5ammons, which expires September 1, 1967, be, and the same <br />is hereby approved and confirmed by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of Febru~Cry, A.
