1175 RES JIM SAMMONS NO LONGER RESIDENT OF COPRESOLUTION NQ, 1175 .
WHEREr15, Jim Sammons is no longer a resident of the City of Paris,
Texas; and,
WI3EREA5, he is not in position to continue his duties as a member of
the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, his term of office would have expired September 1, 1967;
and,
W.l-IEREA5, it is necessary to appoint a successor to fill the unexpired
term of his office on the Traffic Commission; and,
WHE}2EAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, V. E. Stewart, has
appointed Philip R. Cecil and submitted his name to the City Council of the
City of Paris, to be approved and confirmed, to fill the unexpired term of
Jim Sammons; NOW, THEREFORE'
BE IT RESaLVED 3Y THE CTTY COUIVCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the appointment of Philip R. Cecil, to serve as a member of the
Traffic Cominission of the City of Paris, for the unexpired portion of the
term of Jim 5ammons, which expires September 1, 1967, be, and the same
is hereby approved and confirmed by the City Council of the City of Paris.
