RESOLUTION NO. 1159 . W?,-iEr.'~,EAS, 'the City of Paris, did, on January 10, 1961, lease to Ray Newberry, a certain tract of land owned by the City of Paris, and loCated on the South Side of Clement Road in the City of Paris, being a 12 acre tract and being Lot 3 of City Block No. 281 of the City of Paris, for a term of five (5) years, for livestock grazing purposes; and, WHER.E.AS, the said Ray New'perry agreed to pay the Lessor the sum of $50. 00 per year for the use of said land, which $50. 00 has been paid each year; and, WHERE.4S, the City of Paris is desirous of entering into another lease in renewal and extension of the aforesaid lease on the same basis as the afore- said lease, except that the same shall be for a term of ten (10) years, from the lOth day of January, 1966; NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COTJNCIL 4F THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, Tnat the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, be, and he is hereby au- thorized to enter into a lease agreement with Ray Newberry, to lease the 12 acres on the South Side of Clement Road, being Lot 3 of City Block 281 of the City of Paris, for a term of ten (10) years from 1;he lOth day of January, 1966, and Lessee to pay $50.00 per year for the rental of said land, and the Lessor to have the privilege to terminate said lease by giving thirty (30) days written notice to theLessee and returning to him the unused portion of the annual rental fee.
