WHEREAS, the City of Paris did, on the 21st day of September, A„ D, ,
19652 hold an election wzthin the City of Paris, Texas, to determine whether
the qualified voters would authorize the issuance of $2, 500, 000. 00 in water
and sewer revenue bonds; and,
WHE}ZEAS, said voters by a majority vote voted to issue said bonds;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has, on September 29, 1965, canvassed
the results of said election and found a majority to have voted for the issuance
of said bonds; and,
WHERE45, the City Council has on this date authorized the issuance
of said $231500, 000. 00 in waterworks and sewer revenue bonds; NOi7dS THERE-

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO JNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS, That the Cityss Financial Advisors, Messrs. Almon, Mc.Kinney &
Dadley, Inc., of Dallas, Texas, are hereby authorized and directed to ad-
vertise the sale of $2, 300, 000. 00 of water and sewer revenue bonds to the
investing public, and the City Mitnager, H. C. K°nnemer, is hereby authorized
and directed, in compliance with the City Charter of the City of Paris, to give
notice in the Paris News of the sale of said bonds and of the intention to take
bids at 7:00 o=clock P. M. , in the City Council Room, in the City Ha11, in the
City of Paris, on November 8, 1965.
