RESOLUTION NO. 1147 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, has recently <br />adopted a comprehensive amendment to the zoning ordinances of the City of <br />Paris, being Ordinance No. 1710, and also adopted a Land Use Map to accom- <br />pany said zoning ordinance; and, <br />WHEREA5, several areas have been found on the Land Use Map and <br />certain properties, which have heretofore been zoned for commercial useage, <br />were changed without such being intended. <br />That the following described properties are among such properties: <br />FIRST TtZACT: Lots 5 and 6 and 17 feet off of the North Side of <br />Lot 7 of Finn Piace Addition to the City of Paris, belonging to Mrs, <br />Nell Martin. <br />SECO'VD TR.ACT: A tract immediately West of the above described <br />property and being described as follows: <br />5ituated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a <br />part of the Larkin Rattan Survey; and <br />Beginning at a stake in the S. B. Line of East Kaufman Street, <br />42 feet West and 40 feet South of the original South East Corner of <br />the Safeway Store property; <br />Thence West wi.th the S. B. Line of Kaufman 5treet, 110 feet to <br />the E. B. Line of an alley; <br />Thence South with the E. B. Line of said alley, 115 feet; <br />Thence East 100 feet to a rock wall; <br />Thence North 115 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Being a tract of land belonging to J. D. Wi.lmoth. <br />THIRD TRACT: A tract of land situated in the County of Lamar and <br />State of Texas, and being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey; and <br />Beginning at a stake in the S. B. Line of Austin Street and the <br />East Line of a branch, samebeing the North West Corner of this lot; <br />Thence South with the East Line of said branch, 180 feet; <br />Thence East 125 feet; <br />Thence North 180 feet, t+D the South Line of Austin Street; <br />Thence West 125 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Being a tract of land belonging to Joe R. Binnion. <br />That all of the above properties, had, prior to the adoption of the afore- <br />said Zoning Ordinance been classified as "G" Gommercial or Commercial, and <br />said property was in error in said Zoning Ordinance zoned under a M'iltiple <br />Family classification, whereas it should have been zoned Commercial. <br />That the above property is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning <br />Cominission for a hearing to determine their recommendations on the above <br />area, and whether or not the same be changed to a Commercial classification. <br />That the aforesaid hearing shall be had without the paymQnt of the fee <br />usually required to amend the zoning ordinance, and public hearing before the <br />City Council of the City of Paris is hereby fixed upon said properties at 7:00 <br />o'clock P. M„ in the Council Room, in the City Hall, on the 13th dayof <br />Sept ember, A. D„ , 1965; NOW, THER.EFC)RE, <br />BE %T RE50LVED BY Tt-iE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF PARIS, <br />TEXAS, That the aforesaid zoning consideration be, and the same is hereby <br />referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission to report back to the City <br />Council with their recommendations on the 13th day of September, A.
