1147 RES CITY COUNCIL RECENTLY ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORD

RESOLUTION NO. 1147 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, has recently adopted a comprehensive amendment to the zoning ordinances of the City of Paris, being Ordinance No. 1710, and also adopted a Land Use Map to accom- pany said zoning ordinance; and, WHEREA5, several areas have been found on the Land Use Map and certain properties, which have heretofore been zoned for commercial useage, were changed without such being intended. That the following described properties are among such properties: FIRST TtZACT: Lots 5 and 6 and 17 feet off of the North Side of Lot 7 of Finn Piace Addition to the City of Paris, belonging to Mrs, Nell Martin. SECO'VD TR.ACT: A tract immediately West of the above described property and being described as follows: 5ituated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey; and Beginning at a stake in the S. B. Line of East Kaufman Street, 42 feet West and 40 feet South of the original South East Corner of the Safeway Store property; Thence West wi.th the S. B. Line of Kaufman 5treet, 110 feet to the E. B. Line of an alley; Thence South with the E. B. Line of said alley, 115 feet; Thence East 100 feet to a rock wall; Thence North 115 feet to the place of beginning. Being a tract of land belonging to J. D. Wi.lmoth. THIRD TRACT: A tract of land situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey; and Beginning at a stake in the S. B. Line of Austin Street and the East Line of a branch, samebeing the North West Corner of this lot; Thence South with the East Line of said branch, 180 feet; Thence East 125 feet; Thence North 180 feet, t+D the South Line of Austin Street; Thence West 125 feet to the place of beginning. Being a tract of land belonging to Joe R. Binnion. That all of the above properties, had, prior to the adoption of the afore- said Zoning Ordinance been classified as "G" Gommercial or Commercial, and said property was in error in said Zoning Ordinance zoned under a M'iltiple Family classification, whereas it should have been zoned Commercial. That the above property is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Cominission for a hearing to determine their recommendations on the above area, and whether or not the same be changed to a Commercial classification. That the aforesaid hearing shall be had without the paymQnt of the fee usually required to amend the zoning ordinance, and public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris is hereby fixed upon said properties at 7:00 o'clock P. M„ in the Council Room, in the City Hall, on the 13th dayof Sept ember, A.
