1145 RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL NAMED STRUCTURES ARE UNSAFE AND DILAPIDATEDRESOLUTION NO. 1145 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that the hereinafter named structures are in an unsafe and dilapidated condition and constitute a fire hazard and hazard to the life and welfare of the inhabitants of the area, and the City Council has been requested to order the B+ailding Hazard Inspection Committee to hold a hearing to determine the condition of the struc- tures complained of, and the properties involved and the owners thereof are as follows: 1. No. 725 East Jackson St. No. 1043 8th St., S. E. No. 1047 8th St, , S. E. Na. 1051 - 8th St., S. E. No. 815 East Oak St. No. 722 East Oak St. No. 728 East Oak St. These buildings belong to the Estate of Jim i-lix, recently deceased„' and is now in the process of admi.nistration. His daughter, who lives at 628 - 6th St. , S. E. , is theadmi.nistratrix of the estate. 2. No. 1435 - 15th St., N. E, , Lot 9, Block M. of the East Park Addition. Tize owner is N. Turner, whose address is not known at this time. 3. No. 1614 - 14th St., N. E., Lot 9, Block K, of the East Park Addition. The owner is James Rogers, whose address is not now known. 4. NOW, THEREFO?Z.E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITYCOTJNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: That the Building Hazard Inspection Committee, composed of the Chief of the Fire Department, the Fire Marshal, and the Head of the De:partment of Fablic Works, proceed to call a hearing, to notify the defendants, and if any occupants of the property, and to notify such owners whose residence is not known by pub- lishing the same in the newspaper as required by law, and after such hearing to report their findings to the City Council in accordance with Ordinance No. 1470 of the City of Paris, Texas.
