1136 RES CITY COUNCIL ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDRESOLUTION NO. 1136 . WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, has recently adopted a comprehensive amendment to the zoning ordi- nances of the City of Paris, being Ordinance No. 1710, and has also adopted a land use map to accompany said zoning ordinance; and, WHEREAS, several areas have been found on the land use map and certain properties, which have heretofore been zoned for spe- cific uses, were changed without such being intended. That the properties are as follows: 1. On the North Side of Highway 271 or Clarksville Street; Beginning at the intersection of the East Boundary Line of Old Lover's Lane an3 the North Boundary Line of Clarksville Street; Thence East 204 feet, a stake; Thence North 200 feet; Thence West 204 feet to the E.B. Line of Old Lover's Lane; Thence South with Old Lover's Lane 200 feet to the place of beginning. Being the property now occupied an d used by the Green Briar Apartments. That said property was in error zoned as SF-2 under the re- cently adopted land use map, whereas it should have been zoned Multiple Family Dwelling No. 1. The above property is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a hearing for the purpose of determing what their recommendations regarding the zoning should be. 2. The properties recently zoned for Clyde Fry & Associates; Beginning at the East Line of the Commercial zoning, imme- diately North of Highway Loop 286, extending to the North Line of the Old Hull Pear Orchard, containing all that area East of the pre- sent Commercial Zone Line and extending to the West Boundary Line of a tract of land recently conveyed to the L. P. McCuistion Memorial Hospital. That the above property was incorrectly zoned in the recent land use map as SF-2 classification. The property should have been re-zoned a Commercial classiFication. The above property is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission to determine their recommendations after a hear- ing on the re-zoning of said property. 3. Al1 of that area located North of the present commercial zoning North of Bonham Street and located between the W.B. Line of 6th Street, N.W. and the E.B. Line of 7th Street, N.W., and extend- ing to Graham Street. That the above property was in the recently adopted land use map zoned as a Two Family Dwelling classification, when in fact the property was actually being used by retail stores and multiple apartment units. That the above property is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a hearing to determine their recommenda- tions on the zoning classification of the above area an d whether or not the same be changed to a General Retail classification. That all of the aforesaid hearings sha payment of the fee usually required to amend and a public hearing before the City Council is hereby fixed upon each of said properties P.M., in the Council Room, in the City Hall, June, A.D., 1965; NOW, THEREFORF,, Ll be had without the zoning ordinance, of the City of Paris for 7:00 o'clock on the 14th day of BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, That all of the aforesaid zoning considexations be, and the same are hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission to report back to the City Council with their recommenda- tions on the 14th day of June, A.D., ? 65.
