1131 RES COP IS UNDER CONTRACT WITH CORPS OF ENGINEERS OF US ARMY

RESOLUTION NO. 1131 WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Texas is under contract with the Corps of Engineers of the United States Army and will be required within the coming months to provide for intake structures, pumping equipment, 30" water transmission line, and additions to the Water Treatment Plant, and because of such added expense the City of Paris is of the opinion that it is necessary that it have a com- plete analysis made of the actual cost of producing water to the various customers and of the cost of sewer to the various custo- mers; and, WHEREAS, Robert B. Hayter with Hayter Engineering Company, of Parisa Texas, has submitted under date of March 4, 1965, a comprehensive proposal for the making of such water and sewer rate analysis; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is to the advantage of the City of Paris and necessary for the City of Paris to make said analysis, in order to determine a fair and equitable rate for the respective classes of water users; and, WHEREAS, Hayter Engineering Company has agreed to make such analysis in accordance with the proposal in its letter of March 4, 1965, for the sum of $6,105.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, That H. C. Kennemera the City Manager, be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for such water and sewer rate analysisa with Hayter Engineering Company, of Paris, Texasa to make such water and sewer rate analysis, and to pay therefor the sum of $6,105.00, and that said amount be paid out of the Water Bond Fund of the City of Paris, Texas.
