1130 RES CITY COUNCIL CONTRACTED FOR PREPARATION OF AND ADOPTED MASTER COMPREHENSIVE PLANRESOLUTION NO, 1130
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas has
contracted for the preparation of and has adopted a master com-
prehensive plan for the o.rderly future 3evelopment of the City
o.f Paris; and,
WHEREAS, many of the good citizens of the City of Paris
have participated on various committees, which have decided and
helped prepare a comprehensive plan for the future development
of the City of Paris, and which committees are as follows: The
Citizens Committee, the Economic Study Co:nmitteea the Steering
Committee, the Traffic and Thoroughfare Planning Committee,
Zoning an d Land Use Planning Committee, an d the Planning and
Zoning Co.nmission of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, the members composing the various committees have
from time to time given unselfishly of their time, abilities,
and experience to cooperate in the preparation of a comprehen-
sive plan to insure the o.rderly future growth of the City of
Pa.ris; and,
WHEREAS, the City o.f Paris, Texas is highly grateful to
these various committees and the members serving thereon for
the splendid services rendered; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF "THE CITY OF PARIS,
Tnat the City Council does hereby express its appreciation to
each and every committee and the members thereof for their
faithful service in making the comprehensive plan fo.r the or-
derly future growth of the City of Paris, Texas,a success.
