1126 RES COP INTERESTED IN FUTHERING USE OF COX FIELD AIRPORTRESOLU'TION NO. 1126
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Texas is intereste3 in further-
ing the use of Cox Field Airport by private and public carriers;
and,
WHEREAS, there is a shortage af hangar space 2xisting on
said Cox Field; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Lawrence E. Mann, of Paris, Lan.ar County,
Texas, is desiraus of obtaining a hangar space leasy apon which
to construct a hangar or hangars to house an airplane; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'rHE CITY OF PARIS,
That the City ManageA, H. C. Kennemera be, and he is hereby
a:zthorize3 and directed to e>lter into and execute an airport
hanga.r lease, for a term of ten (10) years, between the CityaE
Paris and Dr. Lawrence E. Mann, said lease to provide for an
option at the end of the ten year period to renew said lease,
upon the same terms and conditions, and said lease covering the
pxoperty shown on the map or plat of said Cox Field area as Lot
No. 9.
