1106 RES COP IS CONTEMPLATING ERECTING CERTAIN INTAKE ETC FROM PROPOSED PAT MAYSE RESERVOIRRESOLUTION NO, 1106
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is contemplating erecting certain intake,
pump stations and raw water transmission lines from the proposed Pat Mayse
Reservoir located on Sanders Creek to the City's Water Treatment Plant at
Lake Crook; and,
WHEREAS, it has anticipated certain improvements to the existing wate.r
treatment plant and certain improvements to the City's water and sewer facili-
ties; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to employ a consulting engineer for the pre-
paration of plans and specifications and handling of the engineering work thereof;
and,
WHEREAS, Forrest and Cotton, Inc., has agreed to perform such ser-
vices in accordance with the proposed contract submitted to the City Council of
the City of Paris on this date; and,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that it is to the advantage
of the City of Paris to enter into said contract; NOW9 THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS9
TEXAS, That the Mayor, V. E. Stewart, be, and he is hereby authorized to
execute the proposed contract with Forrest and Cotton, Inc., Consulting
Engineers.
