1089 RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL UNSAFE AND DILAPIDATED STRUCTURESRESOLUTIf3N NO, 1089
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council, that
five (5) houses located at 613, 619, 625, 636, and 634 5th Street, S, E. , in
the City of Paris, and belonging to J. M. Hix, who resides at 628 - 6th
Street, S. E. , Paris, Texas, are in an unsafe and dilapidated condition and
consitute a fire hazard and hazard to the life and welfare of the inhabitants
of the area, and has requested the City Council to order the Building Hazard
Inspection Committee to hold a hearing to determine the condition of the
structures complained of, and report of the Health Department attached
thereto; and,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that
a house located at 614 5th Street, S. E. , in the City of Paris, and belonging
to Mrs, Mattie Dancer, who resides at 642 South Church Street, Paris,
Texas, is in a similar condition and is a similar hazard; NOW, THERE-

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the Building Hazard Inspection Committee proceed to call a hearing,
notify the defendants and occupants of the property, and to report their
findings to the City Council in accordance wfth Ordinance No. 1470 of the
City of Paris, Tex.as, ~
