1077 RES CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZED CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE AND RECEIVE BIDSRESQLUTION NO. 1077 .
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore authorized the City
Manager to advertise and receive bids for the purchase of a tractor,
backhoe, and front end loader, to be used by the Water and Sewer
Department of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, said bids were received at the City Council Meeting
on the 13th day of January, 1964, and the bids were referred to the City
Engineer, J. E. Albright, and after his tabulation and recommendation,
and letter of January 17, 1964, that the bid of the Bob Singer, Inc. of
Paris, Texas, on the International 2504 Tractor, the International 3120
Backhoe, and the International 3000 Loader, which bid was in the amount
of $6, 137.00, was the lowest and best bid of any bidder, whose equip-
ment met the specifications required by the City of Paris; NOW, THERE-
FOREa
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the above and foregoing bid of the Bob Singer, Inc., in the
amount of $6, 137. 00, is decl ared to be the lowest and best bid, and the
City Clerk is authorized to pay to the Bob 5inger, Inco , of Paris, Tex.as,
the sum of $6, 137, 00 for said equipment, said payment to be made from
the W ater -R-uiix- Fund,
