1060 RES CITY MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE CALLED ATTENTION TO CITY COUNCIL TO SAVE CONSIDERABLE TIME IF PERMITTED TO USE FACISIMILE SIGNATURESRESOLUTION NO, 1060 , WHEREAS, the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, and the Director of Finance, H. C. Greene, have called to the attention of the City Council that it will save considerable time on the part of H. C. Kennemer and H. C. Greene in their official capacities, if perrnitted to use facsimile signatures on the New Paymaster Ribbon-Writer & Signer Machine, and that the safe- guards in connection with the use of such facsimile signatures have been explained to the City Council, and the City Council is of the opinion that, for the purpose of payroll checks due to the number twice each month, it will save considerable time to the City Manager and the Director of Finance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That facsimile signatures are authorized by the City Council, as provided for in Article 717j-1, Section 2, of the Revised Civil Statutes of 1925, and the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, and the City Director of Finance, H. C. Greene, be, and they are hereby authorized to sign all payroll checks with facsimile signatures by use of the New Paymaster Ribbon-Writer & Signer.
