1059 RES CITY COUNCIL ON 7TH DAY OF AUGUST 1958 ENTERED INTO AIRPORT LEASE AGREEMENTRESOLUTION NO. 1059 ,
WHEREA5, the City Council of the City of Paris, on the 7th day of
August, 1958, entered into an airport lease agreement with Central Airlines,
Incorporated, for the operation of air facilities upon Cox Field, an airport
owned and operated by the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, said lease was effective on the lst day of September,
A. D. , 1958, and was for a term of five (5) years; and,
WHEREAS, the same will expire on September 1, 1963; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is desirous of extending said lease for
an additional period of five (5) years from September l, 1963; NOW, THERE-
FOR E,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
TEXAS, That the Mayor, C. L. Walker, be, and he is hereby authorized to
enter into a renewal of said lease on the same terms and conditions of the
lease aforesaid, for a period of five (5) years, beginning September 1, 1963.
