1052 RES COP ADVERTISED FOR BIDSRESOLUTION NO. 1052
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has heretofore advertised for bids for
two pumps and starters, to be used in the Lift Station in Sewer Improvement
Project 851-4-63; and,
WHEREAS, the bids were received on the 29th day of April, 1963,
in the Council Room, in the City Hall; and,
WHEREAS, there were three bidders, and said bids were referred
to the City Engineer for his tabulation and recommendation; and,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the City Engineer that all
of the proposals fail to meet the requirements of the specifications and
that all of same be rejected, and that the City of Paris advertise for bids
with different specifications, to be received at 7:00 o'clock P. M. , on the
27th day of May, 1963; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS, That all of said bids heretofore received are hereby re-
jected, and the City Engineer is instructed to prepare new specifications
for said pumps, and to receive bids therefor at 7:00 o'clock P. M. , on
May 27, 1963, under the new specifications.
