1044 RES LONE STAR GAS CO REQUESTED EASEMENT FROM COPRESOLUTION NO. 1044 .
WHEREAS, the Lone Star Gas Company has requested of the City of
Paris, an easement on the East Side of the property now owned by the City
of Paris and adjacent to the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway Right of
W ay, said easement to be 15 feet wide on property now owned by the City
of Paris, on which is located a booster pump station and ground level water
storage tanks, for the purpose of constructing a natural gas line on and
across said property: Beginning at the South East Corner and extending
along said Railway Right of Way a width of 15 feet to the North Boundary
Line of said tract; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to the advantage of the City of
Paris to have such natural gas line constructed; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESQLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the Mayor, W. A. Cawthon, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute
to Loan Star Gas Company the above and foregoing easement for and on be-
half of the City of Paris, Texas,
