1040 RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL CERTAIN REFERENCES AND CONVEYANCES HAVE BEEN MADERESOLUTION NO, 1040 ,
W HEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the C ity C ouncil of the
City of Paris, that on Lot 1 in Block 1 of Clement's Fairview Addition to the
City of Paris, Texas, there have been certa.in references and certain con-
veyances made to a Martin Avenue, being on and across Lot 1 in Block 1 of
said Addition; and,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that
there has never been any use wha.tever in Lot 1 in Block 1, of a Martin
Avenue, and there has never been any Martin Avenue opened at any time;
and,
W HEREAS , there has never been a dedication of T-ot 1 in Block 1 of
Glement's Fairview Addition to thP C'itv of Paris, Texas, for street pur-
poses; and,
W HEREAS, the C ity of Paris has no intention of opening a s treet on
and across Lot 1 in Block 1, and no necessity exists therefor; NOW,

That the Mayor of the City of Paris, W. A. Gawthon, and the Gity Clerk,
H. C. Greene, be, and they are hereby.authorized to execute a quit claim
deed "to Harry Lawler, the present owner of Lot 1 in Block 1 of Clement's
Fairview Addition to the City of Paris.
