1022 RES COP ON 19TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1962 CANVASSED RETURNS OF ELECTIONRESOLUTIQN NG. 1022 .
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, did, on the 19th dav of September,
1962, canvass the returns of an election for the issuance of $400, 000. 00
sewer improvement and extens ion revenue bonds; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has heretofore
employed the Tnvestment Firm of A lmon & McKinney to act as its fiscal
agency; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to receive bids for the purchase of the
aforesaid bonds; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opi.nion tha.t said bids should
be received at the Regular Council Meeting at 7:00 o'clock P. M., on
Gc tober 15, 1962, in the City Council Room of the City of Pa.ris; and,
WHEREAS, the voters of the City of Paris, in 1956, authorized
the issuance of in excess of $100, 000. 00 water improvement and ex-
tens ion revenu e bon ds ; NOW, THE REF ORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CTTY COUNGIL GF THE CITY OF
PARTS, That the ?nvestment Firm of Almon & McKinney be authorized
and dire cted to issue the standard notice of sale form to prospective
bidders of the intention of the City of Paris to rece3.ve bids for the
purcha.se of $400, 000. 00 sewer improvement and extension revenue
bonds and $100, 000. 00 water improvement and extension revenue bonds,
or a total of $500, 000. 00 water and sewer i.mprovement and extension
revenue bonds.
