1019 RES COP IS INTERESTED IN FURTHERING USE OF COX FIELD AIRPORTRESOLUTION NG. 1019 .
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Texas is i.nterested in furthering the
use of Cox Field Airport by private and public carriers; and,
WHEREAS, there is a shortage of hangar space existing on said
Cox Field; and,
WHER,EAS, T. T. Maness, Jr., of Paris, Lamar County, Texas,
is desirous of obta.ining a hangar space lease upon which to construct a
hangar and house an airplane; NQW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF
PA RIS, That the C ity Manager, H. C. Kennemer, be authorized and di-
rected to enter into axilexecute an airport hangar lease, for a term of
ten (10) years, between the City of Pa.ris and T. T. Maness, Jr. , and
said lease to provide for an option at the end of the ten year period to
renew said lease, upon the same terms and conditions.
