R.ESOLUTION NO. 1004 WHER,EAS, it hae been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris, that the Superior Switchboard & I?eviees Divieion of the Union Metal Manufacturing Company is loeating a substantial rnanufacturing plant on property South of the Loop and formerly being a part of the Old Legion Airport, and that it will be necessary for the Superior Switchboard & Devices Company to be furnished with fire proteetion; and, WHEREAS, it is in accordance with the policy of the City of Paris to furnish industries adjoining the City with fire protection; NOW, THERE- F ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, That the City of Paris will furniah to Superior Switchboard & Devices Company the services of its Fire Department for fire protection and water for the purpose of fighting fires on its premises. That the water lines and fire plugs located on the aforesaid premises shall be furnished by the Superior Switchboard & Devices Company. Passed and adopted this 9th day of April, A. D., 1962.
