0999 RES CITY COUNCIL ENTERED INTO CONTRACT WITH STATE HIGHWAY DEPTRESOLUTION NO. 999 _
WHEREA5, the City Council has heretofore entered into a contract
wi.th the State Highway Department to place curb and gutter and driveways
and drainage structures on U. S. Highway 271 leading South East from
Pari.s, and U. S. Highway 271 leading North from Paris, and on Lamar
Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, the expense to be charged to the City of Paris is
$3, 278. 45; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary, in order to pay the same, tha.t the City
of Paris transfer from its Contingent Fund to Budget Account No.
406-Y-5, the amount of $3, 278. 45; NOW, THER.EFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARI.S,
That the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, and the City Clerk, H. C. Greene,
be, and they are hereby authorized and direeted to tranafer the sum of
$3, 278. 45 from the Contingent Fund of the City of Paris to Budget Account
No. 406-Y-5, and to be thereafter disbursed by the Ca.ty Clerk from said
fund.
