WHEREAS, the terms of office of Ben Marable and Dr. C. E.
Gilmore, as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Pa.ris, will expire on December 31, 1961, and it is necessary
to appoint their successors, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, W. A.
Cawthon, having re-appointed the following persons; Ben Marable and
Dr. G. E. Gilmore, to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Paris, for three (3) years, beginning January 1, 1962,
and continuing for a term of three (3) years, and has subxnitted the
names of such persons to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCII., OF THE CITY OF
PARLS, TEXAS, That the re-appoi.ntment of Ben Marable and Dr. C. E.
Gilmore, to serve as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Paris, for a period of three (3) years, beginning
January 1, 1962, and continuing for a period of three (3) years there-
after, is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and
confirmed. The City Council wishes to extend to the above named per-
sons its sincere thanks and appreciation for the capable and efficient
manner in which they have served during the past years while serving
on the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris.
