983 RES COP BY ITS ADOPTION OF ELECTRICAL ORD PROVIDED FOR APPOINTMENT OF ELECTRICAL BOARDRESOLUTION NO. 983 .
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, by its adoption of an Electrical
Ordinance, provided for the appointment of an Electrical Board; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Frank Horne, Mrs. Sayers
Boyd, George Crane, and B. C. Simmons, Members of said Board,
will expire on December 31, 1961; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, W. A. Cawthon, has
recommended to the City Council the re-appointment of Frank Horne,
Mrs. Sayers Boyd, George Crane, and B. C. Simmons, to serve as
members of the Electrical Board, for a term of two (2) years,
beginning January 1, 1962 and ending December 31, 1963; NOW,
THE REFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS, That the recommendation of the Mayor be accepted
and approved, and that the appointment of Frank Horne, Mrs. Sayers
Boyd, George Crane, and B. C. Simmons, for a term of two years,
beginning January 1, 1962 and ending December 31, 1963, be, and the
same is hereby made.
