WHEREAS, the terms of F. I. McClana.han, Carl Deweese, and
Verlin E. Stewart, expire on October 7, 1961, as members of the
Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris;
an d,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint their successors; and,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the City Council, by the
Mayor, W. A. Cawthon, that the following named persons and residents
of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texaso F. I. McClanahan, Carl
Deweese, and Verlin E. Stewart, be, and they are hereby appointed as
members of the Board of Gommissioners of the Housing Authority of
the City of Paris, for a term of two (2) years, beginning October 7,
1961; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That F. I, McClanahan, Carl Deweese, and Verlin E. Stewart,
be, and they are hereby appointed as members of the Board of
Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, for a
term of two (2) years, beginning October 1961.
