978 RES CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK CALLED ATTENTION TO CITY COUNCIL THAT THEY RECENTLY RETIREDRESOLUTION NO. 978 .
WHEREAS, the Gity Manager of the City_ of Paris, H. C. Kennemer,
and the City Clerk, H. C. Greene, have called to the attention of the City
Council that they have recently retired all of the 1936 Series Refunding
Bonds, and that there is a balance remaining on hand in said 1936 Series
Refunciirig Bonds Sinking Fund Account, and that there is no further ne-
cessity of retaining said money in said account, because the bonds ha.ve
all been retired and completPly paid off; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City of Paris that said
money be placed in the Current Fund of the City of Paris and made
available for expenditure for necessities in carrying on the work of the
City of Paris; that the amount of money in said Sinking Fund is
$5, 683. 74; NOWs THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Manager, H. G. Kennemer, and the r`ity Clerk,
H. C. Greene, be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to trans-
fer the sum of $5, 683.74 from the Sinking Fund of the 1936 Series
Refunding Bonds to the Current Fund, to be thereafter disbursed from
the Current Fund. Passed and adopted this l lth day of September, A. D., 1961.
