WHEREA5, the terxn of office of Jim Sammons, as a member of the
Traffic Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on September 1, 1961,
and it has become necessary for the appointment of an additional member
of the Traffic Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, W. A. Cawthon, has re-
appointed Jim Sammons and submitted his name to the City Council of the
City of Paris to be approved and confirmed; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARiS,
TEXASs, That the re-appointment of Jim Sammons, to serve as a member
of the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris, for a term of three (3)
years, beginning September 1, 1961, be, and the same ip hereby approved
and confirmed,, bv the City Council of the City of Paris.
