969 RES BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF PARIS PUBLIC LIBRARY MADE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DIRECTORSRESOLUTION NO. 969 •
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library, pur-
suant to Ordinance No. 1439, has made the following recommendations for
directors for the year beginning June 12, 1961 and continuing to June 12,
1962, or until their respective successors are appointed; and,
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1439, it is necessary that such
recommendations be confirmed by the Council, which recommendations are
as follows:
That Henry Ayres of Paris, Texas, and Ben Marable of Paris, Texas,
be appointed for a term of one year, beginning June 12, 1961, or until their
successors are appointed. That they shall replace J. G. Cecil and J. O.
Atwell, whose terms of office have expired; NOW, THER.EFORE,
BE IT RESOLVEI? BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARf,S,
That the appointments of Henry Ayres and Ben Marable of Paris, Texas,
be, and they are hereby confirmed.
