956 RES COP PURCHASED LOTS 1 AND 2 IN HALF BLOCK 5 OF COPRESOLUTION NO. 956 ,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has purchased Lots 1 and 2 in Half
Block 5 of the City of Paris, from Robert P. Chancellor, and the build-
ing thereon is in need of remodelling, to place the same in condition to
be properly occupied by the offices of the City of Paris; and,
W'tIEREAS, it is estimated that the cost will be, not in excess of
$5, 500. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is to the ad-
vantage of the City to repair the same and to move certain offices of the
City therein; NQW, THEREFOREs
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COPUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to pro-
ceed with the repairs and renovation of said building, and is authorized
to expend an amount not in excess of $5, 500.00, the same to be charged
to the Water Building Fund.
