950 RES HAYDEN STRIPLAND WAS APPOINTED MEMBER OF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF HOUSING AUTHORITY ON SEPTEMBER 18 1959RESOLUTION NO, 950
WHEREAS, Hayden Stripland was appointed a member of the Board of
Comm?.ssioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris on Septeznber 18,
1959, to serve for a period of two years, beginning October 7, 1959; and,
WHER.EAS, the said Hayden Stripland has submitted his resignation
from the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of
Paris, and same has been accepted by the City of Paris, and there is there-
fore a vacancy upon said Board of Commissioners; and,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended
that Verlin E. Stewart ,
Paris, Lam3r County, Texa.s, be appointed
Commissioners of the Housing Authority of
unexpired term of Hayden Stripland, the enc
1961; NOW, THEREFORE,
by the Mayor, William C. Ragan,

as a member of the Board of
the City of Paris, to serve the
of said term being October 7,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CYTY OF PARIS,
That Verlin E. Stewart be, and he is hereby appointed as
a member of the Board of Commi6sioners of the Housing Authority of the
City of Paris, to fill the unexpired term of Ha.yden Stripland, from the date
of passage hereof to Qctober 7, 1961.
