Call meeting to order.
Public hearing on proposed amendments to the City Manager's proposed
Budget for fiscal year 2001-2002 for the City of Paris.
Consideration of and possible action on the following ordinances:
Adopting the amended budget for fiscal year 2001-2002 for the City of
Paris.
B. Adopting a Tax Rate for the calendar year 2001 for the City of Paris.
Authorizing the issuance of a solid waste collection permit to B&B
Equipment Company for the purpose of engaging in the business of
collecting or transporting solid waste from commercial and industrial
units within the city limits of the city of Paris, Texas, and finding a
public necessity and convenience for issuance of said permit.
Authorizing the issuance of a solid waste collection permit to Glenn
and Debi Bolyard, dba Trashy Business, for the purpose of engaging in
the business of collecting or transporting solid waste from commercial
and industrial units within the city limits of the city of Paris, Texas, and
finding a public necessity and convenience for issuance of said permit.
Authorizing the issuance of a solid waste collection permit to Southern
Disposal, Inc. for the purpose of engaging in the business of collecting
or transporting solid waste from commercial and industrial units within

the city limits of the city of Paris, Texas, and finding a pubiic necessity
and convenience for issuance of said permit.
Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
Authorizing the transfer of budgetary appropriations as allowed in
Section 58 and 70 of the Charter of the City of Paris.
Approving and authorizing an Intergovernmental Agreement for
Consulting Services with Paris Independent School District for the
presentation of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.)
Program for one hundred seventy-seven (177) days throughout the
2001-2002 school year for students in pre-kindergarten through grade
5 at the Givens, Justiss, and Aikin campuses.
Declaring certain personal property surplus and approving and
authorizing an Auctioneer Service Agreement with Reggie McDowra
Auctioneer Service.
Authorizing advertisement for bids for a pasture lease consisting of
approximately 185 acres, more or less, on Lake Gibbons property.
Approving and authorizing the execution of an interlocal agreement
with the County of Lamar for the repair of a portion of Smallwood Drive
located in Lamar County.
