RESOLUTION NO. 937
WHEREAS, the City of Paris did on May 11, 1959, by Resolution
No. 866, authorize the Mayor of the City of Paris to enter into a contract
with Forrest and Cotton, Inc., Consulting Engineers of I?allas, Texas, for
the purpose of presenting certain testimony before the State Board of
Water Engineers and ma,king surveys for spillway on Sanders Creek to
supplement the Paris Water Supply, and to determine the feasibility of
piping of water from the reservoir on Sanders Creek to Lake Crook, and
pursuant to said resolution the City of Paris entered into a contract to pay
the Engineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton, Inc., the sum of $6, 850. 00,
upon the completion of such work; and,
WHEREAS, the Firm of Forrest and Cotton, Inc. has completed
said preliminary report and preparation on the Paris I?am and Reservoir
on Sanders Creek and has submitted to the City of Paris twelve (12)
copies thereof, and ha.s furnished the City of Paris its bill in the amount
of $6, 850. 00; NOW, THEREF4RE,
BE IT RESOLVEI? BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS, That the City Ma.nager, H. C. Kennemer, be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to pay to Forrest and Cotton, Inc., the
sum of $6, 850. 00, the same to be paid from the 1957 Water Bond Fund.
