RESOLUTYON NO, 933.
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Texa.s, did on the 19th day of August,
1960, authorize the City M$nager, H. C. Kenntmer, to purcha.se one
Frant End Loader from the Dalworth M.a+chiaery Company of Da11as,
Texas, being Trojan Model 114, for the sum of $9, 970. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Cauncil has been inforzned that Dalworth
Maehinery Compaay of Dallas, Tesxa.s, cannot mBka deliYery of said
Loadcr hefore somt time in Novembcr; and,
WHEREAS, mn,ch of the work to be done by the Loader will be
neceasary to be dona during the manths af Septcmber and October, and
an emergency, exists to procure a front end loader with the earlieet
possible delivery; and,
W HEREAS, Browning-Ferris Machinery Company of Greggtown,
Taxas, ha,s bid $9, 995. 00 for ane Haugh Pa.yloader, Model H-30, and
has promised delivery within two weeks from th3s da.te, and the City
Council is of the opinion tha.t same is to the advantage of the City of
Paris to purchase said Loadery NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARYS, TEXAS, That Reaolution No, 931, passed on August 19, 1960,
be, and the eame is hereby repealeri, and the City Manager, H. C.
Kennemer, is hertby authorized ta purchase from Brawning-Ferris
Ma+chinary Company of Grtggtown, Texas, one Hough Payloader, Model
H-30, and to pay therefor the sum of $9, 995. OQ. Tha,t the Eity Manager,
H. C. Kennemer, and the City Clerk, H. C. Greene, be, and they are
hereby authorized to transfer from the Council Contingent Fund in the
1960-1961 Budget of the City af Paris to Budget Account No. 406-Z-2,
the sum of $9, 995. 00, and to pay to Browning-Fzrris Machinery
Compa.ny the sum of $9> 995. 00 from Budget Account No. 406-Z-2, the
purchase price of said Wheel Loader.
