927 RES CITY COUNCIL EMPLOYED ENGINEERING FIRM OF FORREST AND COTTON TO SURVEY. 0
RESOLUTION NO. 927 .
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore employed the Engineering
Firm of Forrest and Cotton of Dallas, Texa.s, to ma.ke a survey of possible
locations and the cost thereof of a dam on Sanders Creek for the purpose of
creating a water reservoir for the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it ha.s been necessary for the firm of Forrest and Cotton
to have certain borings, soil analyses, and tests made of the prospective
dam site on Sanders Creek; and,
WHEREAS, it has been authorized for Spencer J. Buchanan and
Associates, Inc., of Bryan, Texas, to make the necessary borings, soil
analyses, and tests; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris ha.s been presented with the bill for said
professional services of Spencer J. Buchanan and Associates, Inc., in the
sum of $998. 00; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, be, and he is hereby authorized to
pay to Spencer J. Buchanan and Associates, Inc., of Brya.n, Texas, the sum
of $998. 00, for such services perforrned, and he is hereby authorized to pay
the same out of the Water Revenue Bond Fund of the City of Paris.
