RESOLUTION NO. 910 .
WHEREAS, H. W. Norton, of Paris, Texa.s, ha.s served the City of
Paris, as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing
Authority of the City of Paris, for ma.ny years; and,
WHEREAS, he has served the City of Paris as a merrber of the
Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Pa.ris for many years;
an d,
WHEREAS, his service in each capacity has been, without question,
unselfish, loyal, and respected by every member of either of said orga-
nizations; and,
WHEREAS, his counsel and advice to the City Council and to the
members of the respective boards has always been sound, practical, and
useful; and,
WHEREAS, he has recently departed this life; NOW, THFR.EFORE:,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS, That this resolution be spread upon the minutes of the;
City Council of the City of Paris in commemoration of the fine services
rendered to the City of Paris by his membership on each of said Boards,
and it is further resolved that a copy of this resolution be furnished t:o
his surviving widow.
