RESOLUTION NO, 906 ~

WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Texa.s, has ma,de certa,in necessary
improvements to the Sewer Treatment and I}isposal Plant; and,
WHEREAS, there are necessary some additional improvements i.n
order to modernize and make properly usable said Sewer Treatment
Plant, and there are needed certain items of laboratory equipment for
the Sewer Treatment Plant, and it is necessary to resurface the road
leading from Highway 271 to the Sewer Treatment Plant, and it is
necessary to build certa,in concrete walks around and across the grounds
in the immediate vicinity of the Sewer Treatment Plant, and it is
necessary to cover the floor of the Sewer Treatment Piant with a
permanent type covering, and it is estimated by the Engineering
Department of the City of Paris that the cost is approxima,tely the sum
of $7, 000. 00; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS, That the City Ma,nager, Clyde HL Emmons, be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the purchase of the
necessary laboratory equipment, resurface the acces.s road, build the
walks on and across the premises, and the covering of the floor, the
cost of which is not to exceed the sum of $7, 000. 00, and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized and directed to pay for such work out of the monies
remaining on hand belonging to the funds derived from the sale of water
and sewer revenue bonds.
