RESOLUTION NO. 8939
WHEREAS, the City Gouncil has heretofore, on the 25th da.y of
November, A. D., 1959, advertised to receive bids on approximately one
(1) acre of land belonging to the Cityof Paris, located on the South Side
of Highway Loop No. 286, for the purpose of erecting and operating a
building for the purpose of processing and dismembering dead anima.ls;
an d,
WHEREAS, bids were to be received at 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the
City Council Room, in the City of Paris, Texa.s, on the 14th day of
December, A. D., 1959, and upon the opening of the bids Dr. J. W.
McCoy bid the sum of $500. 00 for the acre of land, and which bid is the
lowest and best bid received by the City Council; NOW, THER.EFORE,

and directed to execute and deliver to Dr. J. W. McCoy, a deed to the
